Sacred plant-Tulsi

The plant in this photo is considered as the most sacred plant in hindu religion. Rituals are performed every day. The signs on the surface resemble the presence of sacred nature in it. The famous "sandya deep" performed in hindu religion is considered as the most traditional way to express faith towards the god. Apart from the sacred nature it has immense medical value. It is a common medicine to cough and other throat ailment. It is very well known to purify air. so it is placed in front of the doors of houses.

Majestic gardens

These pictures are clicked from the majestic gardens in hyderabad. These gardens are used for marriages, receptions, birthday parties and also for business meetings. Majestic gardens is quite famous for it's royal look and natural sceneries. It is very well decorated to fill the customer needs. The cart in the picture gives a traditional look to the gardens.

Actually, I has been there to attend a marriage reception of my friend. The function was great. After the reception I clicked this pictures.

Sugarcane juice with bull?

Selling of sugarcane juice is quite common in India. Juice is extracted from sugarcane in modern methods using oil or electric crushers. But the process of extraction of juice in the picture is in a traditional way in Shirdi(maharastra). Recently I was in a tour to shirdi then I surprised to see the extraction process of juice using a cow!

When I reached the juice stall, the two people began to crush the cane by inserting them between the two large wooden lobes and a bull is used to rotate the wooden lobes. But the juice was so tasty and costed 10 rupees.

Fire in the smoke.

When I wake up in the morning, i was surprised to see a think black smoke from the top of my building. I was very exited because I never saw such a fire accident. A plastic factory was caught in fire in the outskirts of the city. Fire engines arrived to the spot after about one hour later. Approximately 2 million worth of property is burned to ashes.

The accident was due to illegal storage of raw material of plastic in a unsecured bunk. These types of accidents are quite common in the city. But fortunately no life damage has been caused as it was Sunday.It also caused some damage to the nearby houses. Though the fire engines arrived, they failed to put off the fire as the fire engines are less equipped. They took approximately 3hrs to putt off the fire.
